Anita is especially interested in different cultures. She has lived in Fort Worth, Texas where she studied and graduated from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary with a Masters in Music (ministry concentration). During her 5 years in USA she was employed as church pianist and Childrens Choir Director, as well as soloist with the 200 Voice Fort Worth Oratorio Chorus. She has shared her music in her home country, Australia as well as the U.S.A., China, India and Brazil.
Apart from singing and songwriting, Anita is a qualified teacher, having graduated from the Queensland Conservatorium of Music and the University of Queensland. She has taught classroom and instrumental music in State/Private Secondary and Primary Schools before further study lead her to the position of Music Director at Ashgrove Baptist Church in Brisbane, Australia.
Anita resigned her position at Ashgrove Baptist to be availiable to conduct music ministry seminars in various Churches. Her workshops include practical helps that deal with vocal technique, instrumental arranging, team unity, preparing music camps and special presentations, as well as discussing the spiritual aspects of worship and Biblical basis for joy in personal and corporate worship. Anita specialises in helping individuals and teams make the best use of their God-given gifts and talents to glorify Him.
